Note: You will need to install the rain sensor via the SD-110 sensor decoder.
1. Install & discover the SD-110 decoder. Access: Adding an SD-110 Sensor Decoder to the NLP
2. Navigate to
→ 2-Wire → IO
3. Search for the sensor decoder. You can recognize it by its address.
4. Click
and then select Configure.
5. In the configuration section, select from our preset options for compatible rain sensors:
> RainMate - Tucor's rain sensor option for the NLP
> TRB-100 - Tucor's legacy Bucket-style rain sensor
> N/O Rain Sensor - basic third-party Switch-style rain sensor, normally open
> N/C Rain Sensor - basic third-party Switch-style rain sensor, normally closed
6. Select: Apply Configuration
7. Navigate to
→ Irrigation controller → Control
8. Under Rain IO dropdown, select the decoder address corresponding to the rain sensor
9. Under Rain input type: select the type that corresponds to your rain sensor
(Bucket) = RainMate or TRB
(Switch) = N/O or N/C Rain Sensor
10. Input the desired Rain threshold (in) only if the (Bucket) input is chosen.
This is the minimum accumulation of rainfall required to activate the rain delay)
11. Input desired Rain start delay (min)
(Bucket) = Rain shutdown time (resets at each tip)
(Switch) = Additional extended rain delay (optional)

Records 0.04" - (Tip 2) - Refresh existing Rain Start Delay, Restart 180 minute Rain Start Delay
